More Cabinets

Just a little bit more progress on the cabinets...

Girls' desks.  They each have their own but they look exactly the same.  This one is technically Bella's.

Game room kitchenette area:

Game closet in the game room.  We just had them build a face-frame to match the cabinets and had our closet shelving guy build all the shelves inside. 

This week if all goes according to plan, we should be finishing up painting, continuing work on the shower wall tile surrounds, finishing the unloading of the roof tiles, more precast installation around the front windows, and beginning the pool dig.  Busy week!!

Cabinets and more...

The past two days they have been installing some of our cabinets.  Everything except our master bath and kitchen is here and being installed.

Here's Alyssa's vanity (Bella's looks exactly the same)...

They've also been finishing up the doors, trim and closets.  Here's part of my closet...

More of the window surrounds have been going up and they painted the facia up top...

And today they started marking out the pool...

So happy to see so much progress being made!

Trim, Doors and shelves

The past few days our trim guys have been installing doors and baseboards.  They all need to be primed and painted, but it's fun to see more progress happening on the house.

Here's the door to the workout room (on the left) and the laundry room (on the right)...

They also started putting up the shelves in pantries and closets.  This is one of my pantries, I'll be using this one for food storage type items.

This is Jaren's closet, they're still working on hanging the rods...

And we got a pretty awesome delivery today.  Some of our cabinets arrived!  They are currently sitting in the middle of my family room.  They will be installed on Monday!

The rest of the cabinets for the kitchen and master bath will also be delivered next week.  I'm loving the progress!!

Doors

Friday was a very exciting day at the house.  They are nearly done with the texture on the drywall.  When I left Friday late afternoon they only had the master bedroom and exercise room left to do.  They had also begun the final coat of the stucco and had been installing interior and exterior doors as well as baseboards all day.  I met with Bryce, the son of Alan Ray, the doors and trim guy, and we mapped out plans for all the closets and the pantries.  I had been told that my front door would be delivered between noon and 1 pm, so we waited around for a while but it didn't show up.  I finally got a call about 6:45 pm that the door was in and they needed to collect payment.  Luckily we were fairly close by so we were able to get there and see it and pay them.  The glass for the front door won't be installed until the end, and they also come back to put the finish color on the door.  All the iron doors come black, and you can add as much color to make them look a little different or more rustic.
